I haven't actually. :D It was good. Preserved the 16 bit flavorings. Never was a fan of that game, though.

Probably has a rather large impact on the economy as a whole. Or so I assume.

I'm sure somebody would call me racist for that, however.

Is it related to the ever nebulous price of tea in China?

Fair warning: This is one of the weirdest music videos I've ever seen. I do urge you to try to judge the music by itself, as well as with the video.

Thoughts on the music and the video?

And bonus: A more metal cover with a video that is...shall we say, less subtle with symbolism.

I'm not sure. I guess that would depend on whether or not the two are related products.

Finally getting shiny pogeymonz?

I'm not sure I'd call either of those subtle. :P Though I actually had to stop watching the first video to listen to the words behind it. Because yeesh, that was disturbing. O_o Maybe even worse than the "Kangaroo court", which up until now, had ranked my "most disturbing music video" award.

As for the song, I'm...not partial to politically infused music, to be honest. Though I'll recognize it as part of the backbone of america, and honestly to music across the world. I'm not a fan of it. Let alone the duality this suggested of solving the problem of too much violence and war...with more violence. But maybe I read too much into it.

I enjoyed the second one more though, since the video didn't make me want to run in fear, and because...well...it was metalized. >_> That's like coating something in cheese and bacon. It instantly tastes better.

Exciting if you've been hunting them. I don't think I ever got one. I need to put more time into X, I think.

Land of confusion is one of my fave Genesis songs!

And Phill Collins rule!

Disturbed did an awesome cover, gave it more edge.

Must agree, the vids are strange.

How are you, Mr. Chozon1??

What have you been up to?

and...

What did i miss?

lol

I liked the metal cover better than the other one.

While we're on the topic of strange videos, Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 4? This has to be the most weird and most disturbing video I've ever seen so keep that in mind before you decide to watch it.

I'm OK, I 'spose. I can't complain, at any rate. :D Haven't been up to much aside from the usual. I did take up blacksmithing though, as an attempted profession. I'm not sure what you've missed because, honestly, I've been gone since March and only got back on in...I want to say July. O_o

I'm sorry man; I can't do it. It took me all day to get the previous video out of my head, all of three months to forget "Kangaroo Court", and I have to be up in 7 hours. O_o I don't have time to forget something that will deprive me of sleep. XD

I had my finger over the play button, but I couldn't do it.

Hehehehe!!

That's still better than me.

Blacksmith hey? Sounds interesting and really hot. Don't they use hot coals somewhere in that type of workshop?

Almost like medieval blade making??

Yeah, a lot of blacksmith's use coal. I used to, but it was so frustrating to work with, I actually switched over to a propane burner earlier this year. Still crazy hot, though.

Most of what I do is decorative iron work, like hooks, or paperweights. But...I have made a sword before. I plan on making more too, once I get a bit more skilled. :D It was a gift for my cousin. I didn't get pictures, unfortunately.

Would've been awesome to see that.

I saw a youtube vid where a guy made a medieval knife.

It was small though, but just from watching everything he did it seems that just to make one knife is a day long venture.

I can imagine a sword would take longer.

Do you like doing it?

I worked on it on and off for about a week. And I wasn't doing the intensive stuff, with high carbon steel. Just shaping a piece of milder metal. Wish I'd gotten pictures, though. :D

But yeah, I love it. It's nice being my own boss, even if I do have to confront my terminal laziness. :D And it's great to have a job where I frequently hit things with a hammer. XD I love creating things, too. Figuring out designs and having them set in steel.

I unintentionally stopped last month though, since it was just so hot. I'm starting it back up now that it's September, and not hot enough to make the sun jealous.

AWESOME!!!!!

I was thinking of trying it out. But, i don't have the space or the tools for that.

And i don't think hubby is going to like that idea very much since it involves extreme heat.

I've always wanted to try blacksmithing but that's going to have to wait until I have my own place and can afford the stuff to do it.

Random llamas?

Startup can be expensive. But, if you're interested, you could search around for a local blacksmith shop where you could go and watch, or maybe even work with them. We've got one about an hour away, and that way you could give it a shot without having to buy tools. ^_^ Not sure about SA, though it wouldn't surprise me. :D

I will say too, that's even with fire involved, it's as safe as you make it. I tend to wear elbow length gloves and safety glasses, and God has blessed. So far, the only injuries I've sustained have been really minor. And most of them were my own fault. :P

I made some iron crosses earlier today. I'll try and get some pictures of them, if you're interested. :D

Not to repeat myself, but I know in the US at least there are a good amount of places where you can go watch, or try out blacksmithing. And there's a good amount of garage blacksmiths who do it as a hobby. :D It's fun times, if exhausting. But don't ask them if you can make a sword; blacksmiths can get grumpy if you walk into the shop and want to forge a sword. O_o

Llamas are natures greatest warriors. They also spit. Therefore, I feel confident that were I to walk around a corner and find a llama waiting for me, I would scream like a little girl.
