My Iron Banner status is garbage, my light level is so low compared to everybody else. I'm lucky to get a 1.0 k/d
I've had to use grenades and supers for my kills

Eh...it's sprinkled over a decade or so. Maybe more, even. OF course, if you go that far back, I logged some hours in FFIII on the SNES (which was actually V or VI in Japan, I think.)

And my friend, we are in completely different skill brackets; I'm happy if I manage to get a 1.0 K/D in any Crucible match, let alone Iron Banner. XD That's been a good day for me. If I max out all my stuff (meaning I equip weapons I'm not necessarily good with) I'm at light 312 though.

Is the Exotic sword upgrade worth it?

Well from 1-100 its 13. From any number ever it's 211, I don't know why but it looks perfect to me... I know I'm weird XD

Is the Exotic sword upgrade worth it?

I'm a BOSS in the crucible, but I like to use my guns that are still in the 280 levels so my light level through the IB was only about 305-310. But if I get a negative k/d in the normal crucible I'm having a really bad day. Stupid MIDAS!

The exotic swords are great, I don't have one because I need a fireteam to complete the quest. It all depends on which sword you picked. Personally I think the arc sword is the best, then the solar, then void.

Any void sword is only good against taken wizards, and that's pretty much it. Go for the arc or solar.

Definitely agree with that sword statement, It's why I took the arc.

I love the Monte Carlo. It was my first exotic weapon ever, and it's the first that I bought in year two. Basically unlimited throwing knives. I think it looks perfect too. It actually looks like an exotic weapon.

Dairy Queen - Hot Fudge
Chik Fil A - Vanilla
Sonic - Chocolate malt

So as you can see by the 4 different flavors... I like it all... I'm not sure if that's good or bad.

I've done the gathering quest, so I'm just waiting for Armsday to do the fight and get the sword. Either way, I got Sol Edge. I guess when I upgrade it to exotic, I'ma but another Sol Edge, and fuse my Dreadfang into it, since Dreadfang is void.

Bad JuJu?

It can and can't be worth it, some bosses can be hit with swords in places where they can't hit you. In PvP swords aren't that great though. I can't really say for sure, but I can tell you to try it out and see if you like it.
I like the Bad JuJu but it's not one of my top 3 picks. It's still a great exotic weapon.

Zhalo Supercell?

I'm not a big fan of the Zhalo. It's a good gun, but I don't like the feel of it. Also the model of it doesn't help. For me, if the gun looks good, it IS good. That's obviously not true but in my mind it is!

I got "4th Horseman" the other day, and that gun is stunningly beautiful...but pretty terrible to use. XD At least for me, in comparison to Invective or even Conspiracy Theory-D, at least. However, I love Bad Juju. It's the only pulse rifle I use. String of Curses can be crazy on smaller enemies.

Garage Sales?

It took me a long time to get used to the Bad JuJu. I'm not sure if it was the stability or the fact that it had full auto and I kept tapping the trigger. I like its exotic perk though. I just wish it could go to something more useful, like a hand cannon or scout rifle. Fortunately, I can play with just about any weapon.

I've never been to a garage sale but my family has had one. They managed to have one while I was at my grandparents though. From what I know, you can get some pretty cool stuff at garage sales.
