True story, though. XD
Extended editions of movies fall into one of two types: Good and Bad.
Good is where the additions either improve the movie, or at the very least fill some knowledge/plot gap without negatively affecting the pacing of the film. Bad is...let's just say the Hobbit movies felt like bad extended editions of movies. XD
The real question (If I may) is what separates an extended edition from a director's cut?

I liked the extended edition of the Hobbit, actually. Added a lot more background information. I think they're for super fans.
Personally, I've always found directors cuts to be annoying.

But I've always taken them to be a minor re-imaging of a move that a director couldn't do for reasons of time, budget, or target audience.
Fighting giant spiders with battle axes?

Director's cuts can be a lot better, though. Alien 3 is famously bad, but the director's cut (assembly cut, it was called) makes it a more watchable movie.
Battle axes are kind of overkill for spiders that aren't on this scale:

I'd like to ask what was changed...but I equally don't want nightmares. So...
I think as long as I knew the spider was there, and it wasn't actively crawling on me, I'd actually be OK with one of those being in the room with. Not that I want to be tested on that particular premise...I'm good.

Yep. In college, I had a class (Object-Oriented Programming) that had insane homework. Might have been doable had I not been taking more classes, but yeah.
One night before a test, some friends and I decided to attempt an all-nighter in the residence halls. We went at it for hours...and then around 4 AM we just couldn't do it. All the caffeine in the world wouldn't keep us up. It was sad admitting defeat...but at least I know I'm not superhuman.

Or maybe you are...and OOP is your kryptonite? Plausible.
Charging gloriously into battle only to find no one else showed up?

Considering OOP was my only C (Well, in terms of CS classes. We don't talk about Calculus II...), I'd be inclined to agree.
I'm more of an artillery person in battle, so I'd probably be one of the people who skipped out.

I like to run in and punch stuff. <3 Even when that's a terrible idea. On the positive side, even failure will yield Samurai cred.
Stuffing cedar shavings into your pockets?

I'd rather stuff them into tea bags (or other backs that allow air to flow), and let the scent warm up the room. Mmm.

Sadly, I'm allergic to cedar. And most other organic matter. -_- I love the smell though.
Maybe breathing easily is over rated?

Perhaps. I had asthma as a kid, so I never really knew what breathing normally was until high school. XD

Nice. Mine was the reverse. I wasn't allergic to anything until I hit 18 or so. Fun times. -_-
Mini corn dogs, or full sized corn dogs?

Full size, all the way. Can't beat a classic.
I want corndogs now. XD
