I'v never actually had it myself, though I'd love to try it. I ordered some "fondue fries" from Wendy's the other day. Turned out to be fries covered in cheese sauce and bacon, and not real fondue...it was still fries covered in cheese and bacon though, so no complaints.
Irrepressible optimism?

Definitely not one of my traits, lol. I'm more of a irrepressible pessimist.

I'm not sure if I'm actually an optimist, or if I just enjoy using optimism to annoy pessimists. I find it perversely fun, when people are trying to find a way to negative things up, to always find away to spin their negativity into a positive. >_>
You can't spell "cloudy day" without "yay"?

Maybe. But you also can't spell Slaughter without Laughter.

Slawter. Done.
Learning new keyboard layouts is surprisingly difficult?

Yes it is. I tried to learn Dvorak, but it proved just too difficult to get all keyboards I use on the same layout.

Daaaaang. I don't know if I'd be able to use one of those. I'd be one finger typing. XD I was talking about smaller differences. My new keyboard has, for some reason I cannot see, a vertically shaped Enter key, as opposed to the horizontal shape I'm used to. As a result, I keep hitting the \ key instead. -_-
Bad beef jerky is still beef jerky?

I suppose, but I'd rather have a mediocre hamburger.

I'm not sure that's a real thing. I've eaten burgers with rotten lettuce that were still delicious.
When "That guy" is in a multiplayer match, and you manage to take him out?

That's when you put on the coolness sunglasses. It feels nice to take a jerk/showoff down a few notches.

Of course, then there are those times That Guy is on your team. -_- Thank you for enraging the opposing team and making them fight harder, That Guy.
Spending two hours running flawlessly through a game, only to have the last boss crumple you into tiny bits and throw you in a black hole? XD

Sounds like my playthroughs of FTL, lol.

Exactly the game I was talking about. XD There's no margin of error; not even a little. I got greedy on my last run, which had been perfect up to that point: high shield, hard hitting and disabling weapons...and then because I tried to complete a quest, my jump to the next sector ran me into the rebel fleet, which tore me apart.
And yet I can't stop playing. -_- I borderline think the game should be illegal.

FTL is...let's just say I had to kick the habit when I could. lol
I've not done that. Sounds good, though.

I find myself losing time to that game when it doesn't feel like it. O_o
