It could mean there is lots of traffic coming. Case in point: Interstate 35W in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. If it's a normal day, it's pretty much a straight shot. But if there's a race at the Texas Motor Speedway? Oh heck no.

I still find it aggravating. That's two hours I could've napped. -_-

Couch shopping is surprisingly complicated?

Look at that NaNoWriMo win. Good stuff. ^_^

How do you feel about your story?

Pretty good, but I've still got a ways to go. I'm not super thrilled with the ending (or overall flow of the story, I feel like my tension and release curve is all off), and most pressingly, my beginning is utter crap. I was in outline mode, so I was super vague and not at all descriptive. I need to expand that section. A lot. XD

I'm still not quite finished with mine. I'm hoping to finish it before Christmas. Actually, I'm hoping to have it finished by next week. O_o It's taking me longer to reach the end than I thought.

Having your plans interrupted by sudden dentist appointments?

That's always kind of lame. I'm used to my work momentum being interrupted by surprise meetings that are irrelevant, so...

I'll take the dentist, actually. Even though it's basically like laying in someone's lap while they drill on your teeth. O_o Which is both awkward and painful. Curse you dentist chairs.

Will you join me in dressing as a Christmas elf and spreading joy to all this most happy season?

I think I'll pass. I've always seen myself as more of a Gremlin anyway....

Plus, I need to crack down and do more work on this half-finished story. lol.

Once you dress up like an elf, there's really no going back. So perhaps it's for the best.

When you're playing a game, and enjoying it, and then your computer breaks?

That happened to me last night.

I was playing Star Citizen, and trying to map some controls. I thought my flight stick wasn't working, so I unplugged it and plugged it back in. Then it started getting /weird/.

The mouse started stuttering, moving a few pixels at a time, stopping for a fraction of a second, and starting again. And each time it stopped, my computer beeped at me. It was like "Boop boop boop boop" until I did a hard reset. Because it also disabled my mouse buttons for some reason.

Ugh. XD

Nice. My Wii disc drive croaked right as I was about the enter the first temple in Majora's Mask. -_-

When people walk up to you, say "We need to talk later" and then just walk off? O_o

Frankly, the "We need to talk...later" approach is super annoying to me. I'll spend the remainder of the time worrying about what was so important, yet couldn't be talked about right now. I feel like I'll be chewed out or something. Ugh. Just tell me what's up right now, dang it!

Yes. So much yes. And I can't let it go in the back of my head, so it drives me to distraction all day. I'm seriously considering throwing a tantrum next time it happens, and just being like "No. Tell me now, or not at all." Maybe having a threatening wiffle ball bat in my hand...could be good times.

I don't care who it is. Or where it's at. I just really don't. *eye twitch*

When you know something is going to take three hours, and try to tell people, and they refuse to believe you, and as a result only the three hour things gets done?

The lack of proper estimation in anything time-gated is severely annoying. I've been chewed out by my boss for not meeting his deadlines, when I warned him before I started that it would not be done on time. Ugh. I feel like people need to listen to me when I give them an estimate, you know? I know me, you don't. Either deal with it or fire me.
