But yes, I understand what you mean. Some people can be a bit intimidated by someone who is sitting alone, though. Unless they can somehow relate. I've met a lot of cool dudes.

Though to be honest I've met a lot of jerks who hide in corners too. They're annoying. They talk behind your back and whatnot. I guess that's why they're so lonely.

I wonder which I am. Hopefully not the jerk. But on the other hand, I just don't enjoy pop culture very much, and so don't have much to talk about with people...pleh.

Regardless, I prefer boisterous and noisy, honestly. At least most of the time...when surrounded by a large group of people, it can be embarrassing to fire off a cannon unintentionally. It doesn't help that I giggle uncontrollably when I get embarrassed most of the time. However, a well placed blast from the pants cannon can both stun and amaze people.

I remember once in a burger joint I accidentally pooted rather loudly (acrylic benches...it was like an amplifier). My friend was sipping on his drink at the time, and snapped his head up like lightning, eyes as round as baseballs, causing his bench to jerk and perhaps a choke. XD What's more, the lady behind us glared at him for some reason. Good times.

At the same time, many, many hilarious times were brought on by a sudden silent "air raid". Especially with dogs. Less attention gathered, more disgusted people and accusations. Especially when one gets launched on a grocery store aisle, or an elevator.

It was interesting. A little too chaotic for my tastes, as well as slightly more political than I typically enjoy. But still good chews nonetheless. I was majorly freaked out by the intro though, as I was expecting something to "jump" out at me. XD

Is Vapoinhaler something different than than the goo you rub on your chest/neck? If so, I don't know. If not, then I love the stuff. Rarely use it, but it's one of those simple things that can cure many ills.

Cats?

Hey, that's harsh. Truck? Yes. But I could totally beat you in a bike race. As long as you'd had a very heavy breakfast.

I just don't know. I'm a dog person at heart, but I don't hate cats. I just don't understand them, or their owners for the most part. Getting your face lacerated, being ignored, treated like dirt...cat owners laugh these off as the "joys" of owning a cat.

Plus, my cat is odd. If I pet her, she will eventually latch onto my foot like it's a rat, claws fully extended. If I ignore her, she does the same thing. -_-

It doesn't sound as fun as rubbing goo all over, but I do love menthol.

And...I don't know. In my thoughts, it's because in hindsight, we can look back on events/times/locals and see the good and the bad in equal measure, so we feel nostalgic because something within that time or place makes us happy, and wish to return to it, if not everything else. Whereas when we're actually inside the time/place, all we can usually see/feel is the bad (or, we see only the good, and don't smell the evil until later).

Whenever I spend a few days away from home sleepover fashion, with members of my family or other people, I often struggle with mental and physical discomfort (I'm a little bit wacko in the walnut, if you understand) to a rather high level. It's usually enough to make me want to run my head into the wall, actually.

Yet, looking back upon it weeks or months later, I will recall that I had a very good time. Because I'm not presently in discomfort or whatevs, I can smell all the fun and good times I had, which were masked by the pleh.

As far as times entirely hated, I have no bleeping idea, but I'm guessing it's the same principle. I caught myself reminiscing over college last week; the time in my life I regret, the same time in my life I wished for death daily, and the same time in my life that cast a shadow over both present and future. O_o But apparently some part of me misses something from it.

Could've been the daily helping of soda and salt and vinegar/dill pickle chips...Definite possibilty.

Basically, it's 5:30AM, I am tired, sick, and apparently philosophical. O_o

Like, I hated high school a lot. Probably some of the worst times of my life happened when I was in high school.

Yet today, while talking to a friend, we started talking about music. So, for whatever reason, I decided to show him the type of music I listened to while in High School. During that time, the emo scene was quite popular, and I remember listening to a few of the songs that were popular at that time and absolutely hating most of it (but I did like a good amount of it too, admittedly). Heck, the music that I DID like was pretty bad too, except for a few gems that I applaud my past self for discovering.

I started to suddenly miss that era. Remembering all the people dressed in black, with the "cool" hair and makeup. I don't know why. It felt more "real" than the stuff that most teenagers are into nowadays. Regardless if the music is bad or whatever.

I miss counterculture I guess. : |

In my grumpy homeschooler opinion, I'd say there never really was a counterculture, just grumpy teens, and you awoke from that void. >_>

If it makes you feel better, I will say as Christians, we are the counterculture.
