((OK cool thanks. I thought my moving into position was all I could do this round. Yes I definitely would have agreed to attack. In fact, maybe I should always have you attack for me... when I roll, I always miss

For next round, my action will be to attack the goblin to Brokan's left, on the assumption that Kratimos has the closer one under control.))

Recovering from the attack Guy has little time to register his first true kill in battle. For the first time in his life he understands the reason some choose Paladinhood over the life of the more peaceful Cleric. It's because battle is pleasurable for his kind. It is aggression channeled to serve good. Perhaps later there will be regret, but for now, another goblin stands before him and the desire to strike at it is overwhelming.

((Should I just roll the attack now?))

Sensing that the battle has turned in the party's favor, Brokan continues the melee despite his wounds. He attacks the goblin directly in front of him with a two-handed slash with his scimitar.

Attack (scimitar): [dice]0[/dice]

Damage (scimitar, adding 1.5 str bonus for using two hands): [dice]1[/dice]

critical hit confirmation roll (scimitar): [dice]2[/dice]

Edit:

No way I got the highest possible roll three times in a row. Is this a glitch?

testing...

[dice]3[/dice]
[dice]4[/dice]
[dice]5[/dice]

Edit2: It looks like the dice are working properly. That Goblin is paste.

Minather, frustrated with his last attempt at Acid Splash, tries again. Seeing Brokan's powerful smash on the goblin in front of Brokan, he aims for the one next to Brokan. He begins chanting and moving his hands, culminating in a palm-thrust in the direction of the Goblin. Seeing that Kratimos is in the way, he shouts Get down! right as he releases the orb of acid.

((Trying again, see what happens...))

Touch attack roll:
[dice]0[/dice]

Damage roll ((I hope this works)):

[dice]1[/dice]

((Edit: Seems I rolled a zero...do I roll again? Either way, I've spoiler tagged this one.))
Spoiler:

((Getting shot did 4 damage, bringing your hitpoints down to 3 [assuming you had no wounds before this fight]. The healing spell healed 2 points, bringing your hitpoints to 5. So that's what it did assuming Fathom doesn't have any other tricks up his sleeve regarding this.))

CrimsonBlade props herself up and kneels on her strong leg. Thanks so much Livia. Now those jerks are gonna pay. Crimson pulls out her crossbow, steadies her arm and aims at the monsters between her two allies.

With rage he yells, "Come here you dodgy buggers!" His first swing is ducked by his shorter adversary. A grin crosses the goblin's lips only to be met with the blade of a short sword between the plates of his armor covering it's ribs. The bite of the sword goes deep, but not deep enough to bring the veil of death. The creature swings wildly in panic, hoping to land a blow against this feral looking human. The only relief it finds is in the removal of the blade from it's side. Kratimos dodges the wild swing and finds himself at the ready. The goblin has a short respite until guy powers through the center of the goblin's skull dividing its head in two. The creature drops to it's knees and the darkness of the grave swallows its life.

Brokan, wincing in pain stumbles back and his adversary takes full advantage of the moment. He dives in with all strength. The creature's wrath, loosed. He blade flies true only to be deflected at the last possible moment by the stray scimitar of Brokan Mok. The goblin pulls a dagger in his off hand and back spins. Against a lesser opponent, his dagger would have found itself beneath the shoulder in the armpit of his rival, severing major arteries and bringing death swiftly. Against a wild druid, with the fury of nature as his companion, the goblin will be a blade of grass against a gale force wind.

His sharpened senses fire alive inside him. The stone, the wind, the essence of nature is made aware to him. Time seems to slow as the dagger finds it's deadly mark. Wild fury pulses through him. His free hand fires forward and grips the fist surrounding the dagger. The power of stone surges though his body, into his hand and the crushing force begins to break bone and snap tendons. His eyes fill with fire, with rage. This goblin becomes every offender that nature has known and is now the vessel to experience it's wrath. His hand pulls left, stretching the creature's arm. Brokan buries his blade into the collar bone of the villainous wretch. It drives deeper and deeper until it divides its beating heart. The creature collapses without another sound, the ground drinking the greenish fluids pouring from the slain opponent.

From the shadows, he raises his bow. His vile tongue drifts across his lips, whetting the dried flesh. He takes aim and pours his focus into the arrow. All the creature knew about it's cruel trade came down to this shot. From the shadows of the cave he releases. The arrow carries through the breeze. It passes closely by his ally, as the blade of Brokan dives home.

Livia calls upon the power of her god. The energies surge though apparent to Livia, the energy was faint, even waning. Never before has she felt what could only be described as her connection to the divine being hindered. The power flows into crimson. The wound seems to take a life of its own as it spits the arrow onto the ground. It begins to close and seals itself shut, completely healed. Crimson stands to her feet. With the pressure reapplied to the leg, she knows that the healing was not in full as the pain beneath the surface surges. She can make due, however.

The arrow continues it's lethal journey, set to arrive in the span of a breath. Minather draws back his cowl and prepares to unleash his arcane power. He sees a small glint in the air from the fire. The reflection of light off of metal arrowhead aimed for his exposed face. This would be his last breath to be breathed in this life. Hopefully, whatever lies ahead will be a far better place than this mountainside.

Livia is caught off guard as she sees something strange glowing beneath the lower portion of Crimson's shirt. Crimson feels a surge of energy and her open hand darts out to find itself closing on the shaft of an arrow. With impossible speed she spins around, loads the arrow into her crossbow, and fires. The arrow's journey comes to an end, deep in the skull of the remaining goblin.

With foes slain, the party finds a moment to gather their bearings.

((nahh, dawg, Crimson caught the arrow like Jackie Chan and shot it back.))

Kratimos watched as the two goblins in from of them fell to the party's blades. He looked up towards the cave for more opponents, just in time to see the last goblin take an arrow right between the eyes. He turned back and respectfully nodded towards Crimson.

While the rest of the party was gathering their bearings and addressing their rooms, Kratimos stepped inside the cave and took a look around, in case of any more goblins. Or worse.
