I can't suppress this urge to violence,
But I’ll tear my heart out to stop this silence.
A bleeding child, the light fading from his dying eyes,
Plead for his life, guilty of a crime he didn’t understand.
The wings were taken from his soul before it could fly.
Bystanders stand and rage, but refuse to lift a hand.
Apathetically, I feel your pain.
It’s buried down beneath guilty shame
Your silent screams will never reach my ears,
your nameless corpse will not awaken tears.
The blessed gift of life is savagely ripped apart,
returned to Sender, with the postmark stamped in blood.
The bodies continue to pile up, like the horror in our hearts.
Slaughtering in apathy what should have been conceived in love.
The pain, the ache, of the parents burying their sons and daughters.
The shame, mistake, of parents throwing down their young for slaughter.
We’ll fight this atrophy to know your name.
We’ll burn our souls out to stop your pain.
Your silent screams have finally reached our hearts,
your tortured soul will reach into the stars.
Tear down this shroud of shielding words,
and know with horror what is done.
Unveil the hearts and show their blades,
freshly wet with childrens blood.

That brought tears.
It sounds like war, it even felt like it when i read it.
That is a very good piece.

So yeah. Haven't been posting, but I have been writing.

I'm lame like that. This is my latest, and I'd like to know what you guys think about it...I stupidly released it to my family and they've said nothing but good about it...but they be mah family.

You guys don't mind crushing my spirit. <3
Kidding.
And now it's time to Heal.
Goodbye to the lonely shadowed hearts, of yesterdays sun.
The moon will hail the shining stars, this battle has begun.
Say goodbye, to the shadow,
say goodbye, to the sun.
A cold wind blows into our hearts,
No longer will we run.
Singing stars and planets, will aline to our cause.
Sing unto the heavens, the shadow now will fall.
Say goodbye, to the shadow,
say goodbye, to the sun.
A greater light is coming,
against the setting sun.
Say goodbye, goodbye, as these nations fall and crumble,
Say goodbye, goodbye, as the proud man turns to humble.
Deplete this land of emptiness, the sorrow can't have won.
Complete this death of failing flesh, forever reigns the Son.
Tonight, this ends. The ties of eternity closing.
Tonight, the sins, of this planet are eroding.
Goodbye to the lonely shadowed hearts, of yesterdays sun.
His light is shining in our hearts, the dawning of the Son.
Goodbye the lonely shadowed hearts, of yesterdays sun.
Goodbye the shattered emptiness, the beginning now is done.
Haven't finished the music for it yet...I was working on it a few minutes ago but stopped after landing a guitar string in a cut and reopening it...man that hurt. XD

Ohmygoodness, I love it. 4srs.
My only 'criticism' is that I'm pretty sure you meant to spell align in that seventh line there.
English major, checking in.

I could not, for the life of me, remember how to spell that word.
Thank you. For both. <3

Boisterous, if not sense make. I say run with it!
Wombats eat fishpaste, and they start to cry.
Wombats eat fishpaste and they want to die.
These things,
may not make sense to you,
but believe me they do,
just use your mind.
And if this song,
starts to make sense to you,
then the thing to do,
is go seek help.
Oy oy oy!
Wombats eat fishpaste, and they start to cry!
Wombats eat fishpaste, and they claim it's dry.
If this song,
is a symphony to you,
I'd suggest that you,
hear more music.
And if these things,
start to make sense to you,
like I believe they do,
then sing it out.
Sing sing sing!
Wombats eat fishpaste and it brings them joy!
Wombats eat fishpaste and claim it's a nutricious snack for all--oy.
And if this song,
still makes no sense to you,
I'll explain to you,
it has a purpose.
This simple tune,
with simple empty words
was only meant to give,
a little joy!
XD
...I think it's funny. >_>

The Fall of man returns every year.
Now Summer is nice, I won't try to complain.
And even Queen Winter gives her place to Spring.
But the air tastes like silver, and golden trees sway
And I know in my heart, it's another Fall day.
And the moon turns to gold, leaving stars in his wake.
As the nodding trees, begin to sleep through the days.
And goodbye is the word that I will never say,
because you never seem the leave, you just slip away.
And I know when you get here, you're not here to stay,
I just wish you would leave instead of fading away.
Yeah you're the Fall of man, and you have fallen again.
And when you turn away, Winter holds her sway.
I'll live through Spring and summer 'till I see you again,
Can't wait for the day, that the seasons change.

It's Not what you think officer!
He’s a soldier, trained to war.
He was taught that killing is a matter of score.
“Go to war, go to war. His kingdom to build.
Go to war, go to war. Reap from the field.”
Droned into his thoughts from the leaders of the dead
The only way to win is by doing what they said.
Look down the barrel, a target’s in sight.
A glint of darkness, overpowered by light
Pulls the trigger, sees the blood start to flow.
Then he sees the dying is someone he knows.
Man down, man down!, he screams in his mic.
But his brother bleeds out before help can arrive.
Shouted and shot with orders in mind.
Now his friendly fire has taken a life.
He aimed at movement, thirsting to kill.
Put a notch on your gun, Mr. Matter of will.
Fired your weapon, with killing in mind.
Saying the soldier was on the other side
You shot at a friend, someone you loved.
I’m sure your bloody action would please God above.
He gave you a commission to fight and to free
To love those in bondage, to help those in need
He sent you as messenger. He won the war.
But you used your gun to put your friend on the floor.
Friendly fire, who needs an enemy?
I’ll shoot at you, because you’re killing me.
Hands meant to spread love are covered in blood
Sends a clear message, but not one they should.
It's intentilame. I feel no shame.

We'll burn through the Stars and make Pluto a Planet again.
Life is always far too short,
the ships come and go, but never stay in port.
Life is always as long as it’s meant to be.
So I'll trust in God, and live out our destiny.
Because I know how this will end,
it’s not the end,
we’ll meet again,
upon the other side.
The pain of losing you will probably cripple me.
But Jesus healed the cripples, and made the blind to see.
So I won’t fear your death, it’s not what God would want.
I’ll trust our time to Him, and we’ll keep moving on.
Because I know how this will end,
it’s not the end,
I know we’ll meet again,
upon the other side.
And death has lost it’s sting,
No pain it’s hand will bring.
Because the final end is known,
our death will see us home.
Because I know how this will end,
it’s not the end,
we’ll meet again,
upon the other side
