Plenty, if you hit the right spots. If Turok can take down a T Rex with a combat knife, I see no reason the average person couldn't drop a giant monkey with a gun. Easily, really. The alternative is life as a slave on a world ruled by giant monkeys...

Giant man eating chickens would basically solve food shortages all over the world. Not that chickens aren't actually rather frightening.
