Well, some people didn't have any problems with it. It may have been just me. :P

Here's a way to improve the Metroid games immensely: once you scan a feature of the environment that requires a special item like the Spider Ball or the Power Bomb, the game should mark it in your map automatically and it should stay there until you've accomplished whatever objective requires the use of that feature. That way you still have to find this stuff yourself, but over time you're generating a nice check list of everything you have to come back to once you get the requisite items, so chances are you'll never get to a point where you have no idea what you can do next.

That would be nice.

In Metroid Prime 3 you actually are able to mark your map,
but there is also a place where you can have the location of every hidden item marked on your map. :?

I like that, actually. It reminds me of the item in Ratchet and Clank that highlights the hidden portions of the map in green so you can go back and experience what you missed.

Yup, it should be on the map menu somewhere,
or it's a button you press while on the map menu.

Makes sense, though I myself thinks the secret locator just makes secret finding to easy,
(Because well, it tells you exactly where in the room it can be found. XD)
and it somewhat takes the point out of the map marker.

But that's my only rant about it. :P
