So let's say the Dreamcast 2 DID come out? Would you be excited? Uninterested? What?

I know I'd be excited.

I'll probably stick with my Wii U, to be honest. I'm not really into SEGA titles.

I'm thinking about trading in my Wii for a Wii U if they have a deal at GameStop.....but at the same time, I can't use my Gamecube controller nor play Gamecube games. Why can't Nintendo remake Gamecube games as downloadable content for the Wii?

Well, anyway we're talking about the possibility of a Dreamcast 2, not the Wii.

So, would anyone have a different reaction from Krytae if a Dreamcast 2 came out?

At first, I would probably assume Sega was pulling one of the biggest (and cruelest) pranks ever.

I am not to sure what I would think,
I am not really interested in any new systems at the moment.

Well, if you had a game for the original Dreamcast that you wanted Sega to remake for the next one what game would it be?

Hmm... I am not sure,
The only games I really know about on the DreamCast is Sonic adventure 1&2... so I guess those.
(Oh and Phantasy Star Online, but that's getting a sequel.)

Rival Schools and Project Justice. I just discovered the game and I already want Sega to remake those games. Those Capcom fighting games look epic. And maybe Sonic Shuffle. Along with Jet Set Radio and Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.

Anyway, if it's fake then it's fake. But since this forum is about the Dreamcast 2 we might as well keep talking about it, along with other things.

Here's another video.

For the record, Sega Dreamcast had pretty good games back then. And you an't really say that Sega has no really good games, because they're bringing back some of the most popular Dreamcast games on PS3. Sonic Adventure 2 is coming this year with enhanced graphics, online multiplayer (BANG), scoreboards, etc. You have no idea how many people are getting excited for that........

So what you just said, while somewhat true, is in itself invalid. Sorry.

If you are talking about games for the dreamcast, then yes... SOME were great. But if you are talking about games made in the last ten years... I would be right. When I talk about games released, in relevence to a rumored new game system, I mean NEW games! Games that are rereleased for the PS3, the PC, or the XBOX, do not matter to me in this respect

Not all, but there were quite a few stinkers. Not to mention sega's mishandling of game resources. They were too cheap, for example, to dub phantasy star portable 2, for instance.

Okay. I get it. Thank you for your input. But even so, Sega has good games even if they do have a bunch of flaws.

A new Super Monkey Ball game is coming to the Vita. Did you know that?

Jet Set Radio is also coming to the Vita. Did you know that?

Even if Sega has had a bad streak, you have to give them SOME credit at least.
