I found Link's Awakening DX yesterday on Ebay for 15 bucks. Bought it instantly.

Candy cane?
I made it to the final boss (though I too, used a walkthrough. At least, I think I did) but don't remember seeing the ending sequence. O_o

Annnnnnnnd I'm jealous. XD I borrowed a copy of Links Awakening and did not want to return it. XD

Candy canes are tasty. But not six months after Christmas when they turn to a gelatinous mess.

Pleh, pretty much. Content issues, as well as just not favoring games of that flavor. I might give it a shot just to have done so if there wasn't stuff in them.

I can understand that...what content are you referring to, and what games have you researched?

Because I'm not gonna lie, SMT III: Nocturne was one of the darkest and most depressing games I ever played. O_o

Though the Persona games severely toned that stuff down, at least in 3 and 4. Still dark...but not to the point where I felt tainted playing the game. XD

Mostly the sexual content of Persona 3 and 4. The darkness does not bother me so much, oddly. Though Nocturne sounds like it's one of those games you want to watch a cartoon or read a happy book after playing.

Don't do it enough. Favored past time.

Though I have no idea why, really.

I'm currently playing through Persona 3...and what sexual content are you referring to? Beyond dating people, I haven't seen any at all...

That's what I'm going by. May contain a few spurlers.

It's complicated, but if I were to stumble across that stuff whilst I played, I likely would not care very much. But since I know of its presence, I now cannot feel happy about purchasing the game, I 'spose.

It's like earlier today: I ate blackberries with raspberry beetle larvae in them. Gross, right? But I didn't know about them at the time of consumption, only later when my mom told me (I was, as you can guess, thrilled at that revelation. Intestinal parasites...are not my forte`) she saw them. So, right now, I could not go eat the blackberries in good conscience, since I know aforehand what they contain, even though earlier I nommed them down unknowingly without issue.

So, minor sexual content or otherwise, no Persona for me. :P There's also the odd Japanese RPG'ness of it, which I've never been a fan of. Notable exception being Star Ocean: The 2nd story, which was actually just as weird, but edited for American audiences. XD

Probably shouldn't read the comments on that review either, since I'm fairly certain they contain spoilers of a major flavor, and definitely contain windbags.

I suddenly have a craving for freezies, considering it's summer and all.

Favourite colour of freezie?

I don't know if we have freezies here. O_o Is it a fruitish slushee critter, or some sort of dairy based creation?

It matters. Strawberry for dairy, always. Slushy fruit...I tend to favor citrus flavors. Or watermelon. Which could be a citrus.

lol looking at the author of this thread totally misled me into thinking it was a thread dedicated to Nix. Guess you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

Agree?

These things.

They're also called freeze pops, but everyone over here calls 'em freezies.

So, ever have them? Favourite colour?

So much better than store bought, if you can find them. Prettier too.

That actually happens pretty frequently. But I agree. Though for the record, Nix was a construction worker of sorts and had a thing for Huskvarna tools; especially chainsaws, with which he once went lumberjack on a pretty huge oak tree and had it done easily.

I've always called them popsicles. And I love them beyond pants. More than pants. More than underpants, actually. I love the orange ones; which worked out nicely, since my sister hated the orange and purple and would leave them alone. XD
