Yeah, Canada is great if you love the cold weather. People are very friendly too. I enjoy living here.

No. I'd call you a vampire hunter.

I read a book where a vampire hunter actually ate a boatlourd of garlic before combat, in order to make him bite proof. XD

Did he sell beans?
Nevermined.
Srsface question: Is there a (low footprint) C++ game engine you could recommend to me? Doesn't have to be flashy, or even something I could create a marketable game with. I've got a very, very, very loose grasp of some of the basics of the language, and I think it would help me stay inspired if I could learn as I actually accomplished something. I've got a "learn C++ through games" book I'm working through slowly, but I seem to learn better by jumping into the piranha pit face first.

Well, that depends on if you prefer 2D or 3D, but there's a couple options.Chozon1 wrote:Srsface question: Is there a (low footprint) C++ game engine you could recommend to me? There's irrlicht, which is highly modular; OGRE3D, which is a graphics rendering engine, and a few more specific options. Among these are all id software games up to Doom 3, SDL (A low-level hardware interface library), and the Monocle Engine (Though there's scant documentation for that one).
Honestly? I'd recommend either building your own from some of the libraries I mentioned, or going with something simpler, like Unity.

That vocorder effect reminds me of Crack the Skye. And that random Jazz breakdown made me very happy. Reminds me of BTBAM. I think I'll very much like this band. XD

'Preciate the engine listing. I'm uncertain whether I want to actually try and make game; I just figure I'll be more likely to work on something that interests me, I 'spose.
