Didn't have high hopes for this but I was very happy with this. All the actors are perfect and I can't wait for the next one.

I know it wasn't exactly an Oscar winner but I just felt so patriotic seeing one of our most beloved presidents beheading vampires swing by swing with an electric guitar squealing away in the background

Immortals.
Some good action sequences and I liked some of the art direction, and I would have preferred it to stay more true to Greek mythology, but I can see what they did.
Storyline and sequence was subpar.

The last movie i watched was this chick flick with Davad Tennant (doctor who, the 10th doctor). Pretty good actually.

Anyone see Bonraku? If not, and you love action awesomeness, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!

I might have to check Bunraku out.

You know what had amazing action sequences, both in it's subtlety and grandeur, on top of a great story and poignant setting?
13 Assassins. My mind was continually blown. Watch it. This movie makes intensity an art.

13 Assassins...aka the movie with a 45 minute long action sequence of awesomeness! Now that's a way to end a movie!

Totally. Haha. When the old ronin first makes his entrance, my jaw dropped. They built up to that scene perfectly.
