Kendrik wrote:That being said... yikes. So far... the show is poised to kill Buffy... and that's no small claim from me. I like the setting better... I like the premise better... and it feels way more polished.

Also. Cordi.
I've seen all of Angel and most of Buffy (up through about the 4th episode of Season 7), and I'd say Angel is definitely the better show. Heck, the worst parts of Angel are usually when Buffy guest stars (which is like... 2 or 3 episodes, IIRC).

I couldn't stand Cordelia in Buffy, but she grew on me during Angel. And Wesley eventually becomes my favorite character in the Buffyverse.

Anyway, I just watched more Rescue Me. Still enjoying it. I also watched the first episode of The Shield. So far, I'm not crazy about it. But I'll give it a couple more episodes.

I can't wait to get to Wesley. :)

And aye, Obi. Everybody I've talked to who has seen Angel... says it gets insanely incredible.

Also, watched three more episodes of Angel last night. It's as addicting as Buffy.

So, I finally finished up the first season of Corner Gas..

It's incredibly difficult to decide who gets my bid for favorite character, but right now it's actually leaning towards Wanda. And even the worst episode in the season (Hook, Line, and Sinker, IMO) had me busting a gut.

"Hook, Line, and Sinker" is a hilarious episode... even if much of the dialogue revolves around Karen freaking out and saying "I didn't sleep with Hank!!!" The fact that that's the lowest point in the season for you guys makes me very happy since the rest is even better.

Anyway, I last watched a few episodes of X-Men... almost done with the series... around ten episodes left. It's really good... but season four is definitely weaker than season three (granted season three was amazing).

Didn't really have anything to do with that, I just thought the whole fish thing was stupid. What was indeed hilarious were the sign wars.

The point was, they're pretty much hilarious no matter what.

And..I watched nine episodes of it yesterday...:/

Went another episode into the glory that is Friday Night Lights season 3. Love it. I'm all kinds of sadness knowing that I've only got 4 or 5 episodes to go yet. :(

Then I'll have to move onto X-Men. :D

Srs note: Gotta admit, Kenny, I wasn't totally all "eyes rolling" at your obsession with the X-Men TV show, but there was a bit of "strange looks at the man not watching better TV." After watching your hype grow, I decided to look into what people said of the show, and was surprised at how much critical acclaim the show has received. O_O

Yes. I may actually look into the X-Men TV show after Friday Night Lights. Assuming, of course, I can somehow get my hands on it. XD

Just watched a couple of episodes of Corner Gas and 'Security Camera' is almost the best episode I've seen yet.

My gosh, so many hilarious moments. Davis became ultimate win in this episode.

You cut me deep, requiring other critical commentary before believing that my hype about something is justified. :(

X-Men is revered among American animated series by fans of the brand and critics alike. It's not as good as Naruto or Fullmetal Alchemist, but it's still really good. Surprisingly mature themes met with characters and actions that call for tears on multiple occasions.

Still cut me deep. I'm pretty much done talking about movies/TV for reasons such as these. :/

Oh... the entire series is on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/user/novfiftn
