Network security?

It's a really cool field. If the professor's are good, take a course on it. Yes yes, this is "Stuff that you can find on the internet". But it's usually way better when someone explains it for you. For example, I found several white papers on RSA decryption algorithms. But it wasn't until my math teacher explained it and it's potential applications that I really appreciated it. And besides, the network security class wasn't all lecture. It was like "Here's some information on how one might DDoS a site. Now let's try it on these lab computers!"

Yeah. It was awesome. XD

Favorite thing to do when really bored?

Read, or work on personal projects. Just gotta do something not school or work related, really.

What's your favorite book or book series?

That's a hard one. XD

I'm a huge fan of Dune, as well as most of the Star Wars Expanded universe stuff. Tokien is always a classic, and I do love me some Poe. I'm also a really big Lovecraft fan.

I'm reading "The missing" by Margaret Peterson Haddix. Have you ever read those?

Yes, I enjoy them. My favorite of hers is The Shadow Children series.

Favorite game system?

PC. Or if I must choose a console, PS3.

Do you like knives?

Knives as in the tools? Yes.

Knives as in Knives Chau? Not so much.

My funnest class so far is IT foundations (computer repair). It's probably the reason I wake up on Mondays, actually. It's take apart/put back together of all manner of PC's.
