Let it suffice to say that a friend of mine mentioned her favorite artist some months ago and I was bored and looking for new music on youtube...I wanted to kill myself in about 30 seconds.
Symphonic metal?

Nice story. Though the climax needs some work...I think you get points for trying though. XD It's more than I do with my sister (who likes pop).
Symphonic metal is probably my second favorite variety (and one of the few classifications I feel actually matters. I despise when someone says something like "I listen to neo-wave symphonic melodic grunge metal), losing to melodic (another one I think is actually distinct) by a hair. Love me some strong melody and clear notes amidst my Armageddon starting crunch.

If I showed you what I was talking about, you'd nominate me for a medal.
How many points do I lose off my man-card for cruising Main St blasting Tarja's cover of Alice Cooper's Poison?

I'll take your word for it. Though I imagine my sister might could work out a tie. Though she does have a Holy Blood CD and listens to Nightwish. Maybe not.
I don't know who that is. So probably 5. You basically have to give a nasty look to a piece of wood to earn that back, so no biggie.

My dreams, my money, and my flatulance. And a really funny attack in Tekken III.
Been a long time since I've seen the movie. Never read the book, though if you tell that to my fambly I will be smote.

I made it all of ten pages. I really have nothing against romance in a novel, but that was horrible.
Ghosts?

It's generally the classical soapy romance. I don't want to say overdone but...
