Because we try to do it by ourselves. But sometimes failure is a good thing. Your failure to 'man up' (notice the air quotes) and freeze to death now means I can get a good nights sleep without worrying about there being an Oro popsicle somewhere in the world. XD

Hmm...I thought thermite was styrofoam mixed into gasoline and was a gel.

Um...that's kinda like saying 'Cops think every Mustang driver speeds'. The innocents are less than the guilty.

Edit: Umm X2: It has just occurred to me that mah grandfather smoked a pipe. O_O And now I feel like a complete ninnyhammer. XD

I should also realize that pipes =/= hookahs. I 'spose it's just an assumption on the part of LEO's, as pipe smoking was around long before marijuana hit the states.

Most potheads don't smoke pot out of a briarwood pipe. Just sayin'.

Iffy. Noir is one of those terms that has been beaten to death by pop-culture. It is the 'fall color' of the media art world. But it can still be awesome.

Have you ever noticed how danged effective your mind's defense mechanisms are?

Like, if I'm thinking about a particularly painful subject, even if I'm trying to focus and really think, I start deflecting onto an tangential subject that happens to pop up. It's annoying.

Is that what those things are?

They need to burn. Probably.

Best way to disable them? Try to go to sleep and avoid thinking about the problem. >_>
