I would hazard pay a second guess that it's because most metal is the blues anyway, just with lots of distortion.

Also, in relation to my earlier question, is it weird all my guns and truck have really snotty sounding names?

Like my AR was Demi ... until she demanded I take her to a specialist to get some work done...at my expense, and I ditched her for my Belgian friend Veronique. (<_<)

And my truck now bears the name Penelope...after Odysseus' wife.

Vaguely odd. Mostly funny. XD

Though I do remember an old cartoon called 'Penelope Pitstop', which is funny in relation to your truck.
