You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

Unfortunately, it feels like their debut album ran waaaaaaaaayy too long. And I love long albums.

My official statement is that I really don't like them, buuuuut... I own The Suburbs, and I can easily say that the first half of the album is one of my favorites, ever.
So yeah. XD

So, I've got unfettered access to Netflix for the next week, care to throw a couple movie suggestions my way?
I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do - Robert A Heinlein

Well, really depends on what you're into.Orodrist wrote:So, I've got unfettered access to Netflix for the next week, care to throw a couple movie suggestions my way?
Recently, I saw Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance on Netflix, which is pretty brutal, but it's also very good. Totally worth your time, if you're into violent Korean movies dealing with revenge. Along those lines is The Horseman, which I actually turned off because of violence. That one is Australian, and again, it's a revenge thriller.
I also liked Heartless, which is a little sentimental, but it's a pretty decent low-budget British horror flick.
Netflix also has Ip Man, which I haven't seen, but I've heard good things, as well as quite a few of transgressive director Takeshi Miike's works (like Ichi the Killer and Audition). Netflix also has some Cronenberg (totally recommended, especially if you can find my favorite of his, Videodrome) and Lars Von Trier (who is either amazing or suck, but either way interesting).
Hope that's enough to get you started.
