See last post. Amazing guitar work...that particular song also sounds vaguely western to me, and I adore that.

I...um...haven't seen a 007 movie since Goldeneye. >_> <_<

I imagine Craig will be awesome though. :D

Long as we're back before Christmas.

And take along snacks. I turn into the grim reaper without snacks.

Umm...odd time for a road trip I guess. XD

Got too busy to bind my cousin a journal for Christmas, so I just went to a jewelry store and got a nice chunk of gold.

Still a good gift?

I...don't know. There's something sinister in the OG orchestral version that is lacking in the metal translation. It's amazing...but not epic.

I am not. My fambly went all out X-Box. I am have no complaints. XD Still want to get into Wargaming (and still plan on it, you bet your underpants, when I have the fundage) but it's hard to be disappointed when confronted with a new console and about 10 games.

I did look at Barnes and Noble for the MkII Prime book though, to no avail. This way, I have hopes of being able to go by a store and watch or participate in a few rounds though.

Well, in that case, let's try some of their studio work. Note that the following is two songs, but I found a video that merged both into one, since they transition.

?

(Apologies if the audio mixing is a tad distorted, it appears whoever made this turned the gain up too much)

Tres cool. Amazon.com is your friend. Have you chosen a faction?

You can never have too much gain. >_>

That was insanely beautiful. The music, the vocals...awesome. XD I really like the guitar work in the first song.

Without actually playing factions, I'm leaning toward Cygnar. The Elvish faction (which name escapes me at the moment) held my interest too, but I liked the technological superiority of Cygnar (from my readings, anyway).

Simone Simons (Their lead singer) is a classically trained Mezzo-Soprano, and the band openly acknowledges that some of their biggest influences come from Classical music. If you like that guitar work, well let us just say that is a trademark of Epica. :P

I think it's time for you to finally hear an archetypal Epica song. If you don't like death grunts, stay away. XD Epica is known for blending metal grunts, guitars, and beats with classical music and awe-inspiring classical vocals.

Arguably their most popular song:

Biff that rocks. XD It's like the combined the best elements of moder metal and ye olde classical.

It's amazing.
