So, I'm having issues with my 360 right now, and I was wondering if I could take my hard drive and put it in my cousin's 360 (while I'm trying to resolve the issues with mine) and still be able to access my Rock Band songs and XBLA games?

Never did it. Never understood it, really. ;)

Yeah, you can. You'll have to be connected to the internet and recover your gamertag... and then, to access all of your downloaded stuff, you'll have to be connected to the internet while using them.

This has to do with the licensing of the system. Your hard drive is connected to your Xbox, and the downloads are all licensed for use with that Xbox and that hard drive. It's essentially the same idea as if you replaced your system and kept your hard drive; the data would remain, but in order to play offline, you'd have to transfer the licenses over to another system. Think of it as a sort of DRM... and you've got it.

But yes. When you return your hard drive to your new system, you'll have to recover your gamertag again; as long as you didn't transfer the licenses at your cousin's, you should be able to proceed as normal.

Looking at it... it was Kenny.

He did this independent of me; I didn't ask him to. XD

Never read it, but that could be partially because I'm not a big Thurber fan.

I tried looking it up, but I could never find a clear answer. So thanks for the help, man. :)

I have no idea, but I'm assuming your last name is Thurber.

No prob.

And... it was probably Peace Sells by Megadeth on bass.
