You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

So, I'm having issues with my 360 right now, and I was wondering if I could take my hard drive and put it in my cousin's 360 (while I'm trying to resolve the issues with mine) and still be able to access my Rock Band songs and XBLA games?

Never did it. Never understood it, really.Chozon1 wrote:Really? I consider that every Halloween.

Yeah, you can. You'll have to be connected to the internet and recover your gamertag... and then, to access all of your downloaded stuff, you'll have to be connected to the internet while using them.Strider wrote:So, I'm having issues with my 360 right now, and I was wondering if I could take my hard drive and put it in my cousin's 360 (while I'm trying to resolve the issues with mine) and still be able to access my Rock Band songs and XBLA games?
This has to do with the licensing of the system. Your hard drive is connected to your Xbox, and the downloads are all licensed for use with that Xbox and that hard drive. It's essentially the same idea as if you replaced your system and kept your hard drive; the data would remain, but in order to play offline, you'd have to transfer the licenses over to another system. But yes. When you return your hard drive to your new system, you'll have to recover your gamertag again; as long as you didn't transfer the licenses at your cousin's, you should be able to proceed as normal.

I tried looking it up, but I could never find a clear answer. So thanks for the help, man.Drewsov wrote:Yeah, you can.
