Well, I don't remember saying this, so I've been working my way through the Inheritance Cycle, with me being about a quarter way through Eldest.

Meh, I really couldn't give a flying rat to what other people think.
I also wanted to read them again to give me some perspective. No, they're not as great as I thought they were, but they're still entertaining.
And, Fahrenheit 451 is quite good, despite me being forced to read it.

Echoed. Although I've only read Blue Like Jazz. I love how he doesn't get on his soapbox at all, he just relaxes you through the process of his philosophical musings.newcement wrote:Currently reading Searching For God Knows What by Donald Miller. Excellent Christian author. Really love his stuff.

Brisingr. Why is that I dislike Eragon (the character) so much?

I read Brisingr yesterday. And I know what you're saying. The writing isn't bad, contrary to some's opinions, but Mr. EragonGarthVader wrote:Brisingr. Why is that I dislike Eragon (the character) so much?
is a fool, a moron, a pansy - he's the most pathetic "hero" I've ever met. I'd like to feed him to his dragon. She's so different
If only Saphira was the human and Eragon was the dragon.
