I liked that movie, if memory serves.

Last movie I watched was "Grilled." It had funny actors, but they couldn't save the movie from its bad script.

THX 1138, George Lucas's first film that he started working on as a film student. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised to find myself enjoying the movie; Despite its low budget it manages to come up with some pretty decent visual effects (particularly for a movie from 1971) and has a pretty good cast for a quasi-student film. The primary stars are actors most people should recognize; Robert Duvall (best known for his roles in the first two Godfather movies) plays the title character, while Donald Pleasence (the Forger from The Great Escape) also plays a key role.

It's hard to imagine the same man that would one day thrust Jar-Jar Binks upon the world could also come up with a future outlook as disturbing and dreary as the one presented in THX. It's not the best movie in the world, but I'd definitely recommend it, particularly to people whose only exposure to Lucas's work has been in the form of Star Wars and Indiana Jones movies. (Though Lucas's second film -- American Graffiti -- is very good and definitely better than THX, so if you're looking to expand your experience with George's films that's probably a better place to start.)

Dark Water.
A MUCH better horror movie then the ring, it steals the basic idea from the ring, and (IMO) improves it.

Overall I don't like horror, but this movie wasn't bad.

Man Of The House. Just before that I saw Doom. (Unrated, extended version)
The next movie I see will most likely be The Ring Two. (Unrated, extended version)

Yes, it did. They turned it into another 'Man playing God' type stoyline set on Mars. It was a good movie, but nothing compared to the game. I just wish that they had kept the original storyline and added some meat to the bones.

I would suggest doing it. It was still a good movie. I bought it at my local Gamestop. 3 DVDs for $20.

It's a good deal, but I like the 3 for $10 sale better.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
