I gave one of my coworkers a knife (because while it's flattering, being asked to cut things all the time is annoying), but the other didn't want one so I was like, eh, I should probably give her something, so I gave her the 1/2" chunk of malachite I used to carry. It's worth all of a dollar. She all but melted. It would have been hilarious if I wasn't trying to figure out an escape route. And it's not like I made it seem like something special. I just slid it across the table like I did the knife.
