Nope. Not terribly into fantasy as a whole... but if you say they're good, I'll hunt one of them down.Deepfreeze32 wrote:Ever read an Andrzej Sapkowski book?
The last time I went to the zoo was in 2005. I went with my general art class from the Art Institute of Colorado, and we wandered around for a couple of hours while the three goth kids that were in my group puffed on cigarettes, and I felt kind of awkward.Chozon1 wrote:Thankfully, I just forgot that fine substrate would settle underneath larger substrate in water. It'll make cleaning my tank a bother, but manageable.
Zoo?
I'm really only familiar with him by reputation, but from what I know, I know that I need to see his stuff, just like I need to commit some more time to Bergman.Orodrist wrote:Andrei Tarkovsky?
Hot Fuss ended up being one of those albums that defined high school for me, even though I was initially resistant to it. That can only be said for like... four other bands, so this is a good thing.Strider wrote:The Killers?

Occasionally... but not usually.Chozon1 wrote:Have you ever had a moment where you wondered what was truly real?
Yeah, I probably could have.Chozon1 wrote:Could you have given a more nebulous answer?
The band? Eh... not so much my style. XDepsons wrote:D.O.A.?

Gears 1 was one of the reasons that I bought the 360 in the first place; just its art style alone was enough to make my jaw drop.
Gears 2 was like a fulfillment of that promise. It was everything I wanted from the original game, plus I actually managed to get a friend to play some co-op with me, so there was some craziness on that end, too.The first time I did the cavern driving mission, I was with my friend. I think we both screamed into the headset at once because of one of the big dudes popping out of the dark. XD
So yeah. I'm looking forward to Gears 3. I'm not a fan of the guys that tend to be fans of the game... but I'm totally a fan of the game itself, what it tries to do - however weakly - with story, and its general direction. Gears 3 seems to be a refinement and evolution, and it's one that I'll be buying on day one, once again.
As for Mass Effect 3... I loved ME1. I loved ME2 even more, which probably dropped my love of ME1 down to a "like".... ME3 needs to be mindblowing, but knowing Bioware, I'm certain they can pull it off. I just don't know how they'll end it. XD
Hardcore 81 was the first punk album I ever bought... Good stuff.Drewsov wrote:The band? Eh... not so much my style. XDepsons wrote:D.O.A.?
It was pretty amazing. XDGarthVader wrote:![]()

That sounds totally amazing! Haha! Yes, my brother and I screamed at that same point in GoW2 ^_^
Depends on the execution.Me too. Is it just me, or is the addition of female characters just not.... fitting? It doesn't seem to go with the game.
You'll like it, I think. It's totally worth playing... and hey, if you look around, you can find it for cheaps now.Mmm, nice. I haven't played ME2 yet; probably will this Fall. Yes, Bioware doesn't disappoint often.
I'm getting more and more into hardcore as I go along. I just picked up Refused's amazing The Shape of Punk to Come, and I've had Gallows' Orchestra of Wolves for quite some time. Problem is, I'm not able to listen to that genre much without having to find something else. Stresses me out. XDepsons wrote:Hardcore 81 was the first punk album I ever bought... How's life in Drewland?
Yeah... one day a week. I'm planning on leaving pretty soon, actually... like within the next couple of weeks here. I've got another job at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts that takes up most of my time, and I need to look for something that pays better so I can move.Chozon1 wrote:Nice. ^_^ You still work at Wendy's?
Have you considered the industrial sized box of popsicles?
