"Beautiful Jesus" <- Trip/Kenny Yeager
Trip wrote this awesome, beautiful (unavoidable pun) worship song that I fell in love with when I heard it and read the lyrics. I wanted to cover it.
Of course, I also wanted to make it my own.
I'm in the process of doing both.
I'm synthesizing most of a real band (keyboard, synth, drums, bass) and recording what I have access to (vocals, guitars). Tonight, I've written out most of the synthesized stuff in GarageBand... and I'm listening to it... going... "wow... did I really do that?"
Hopefully, I'll have the song ready to go by tomorrow night. Trip did quite the number in writing this beauty, and my overhaul sends it straight into the realm of "freaking awesome."
Expect to hear it in your local churches within a year.
