Seriously, I'm interested in reading that. Just to see if he can keep my interest.
I'm still working on The Hobbit. Why it's taking so long, I have no idea.
Well, it was an improvement over the previous two...meaning it was a sub-average book.

Strange that The Hobbit is taking you the longest, usually that's the easiest book to read.
The Last Full Measure by Jeff Shaara. Great book, although still not Gods and Generals quality.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

I am still working on that freaking hobbit. Actually, I haven't touched it in a while. But I will, I promise.
Tomorrow I'm going to borrow Eragon, Eldest, and Bsringr (however that is spelled) and read them in one fell swoop. I want to see if they hold up to my literary taste of today.
I'm also borrowing Snakehead by Anthony Horowitz.
And in the near future, borrowing The Prestige by Christopher Priest.

Here's a list of books I am currently in the middle of.
Halo: Fall of Reach
Brisingr
Left Behind: Desecration
Yep all are pretty good so far. That's a good 1500 to 2000 pages right there.

Just finished Slaughterhouse-Five, by Kurt Vonnegut
For some reason I never got around to reading this after reading The Sirens of Titan and Breakfast of Champions.
Holy crap, it's phenomenal. Post-modern, crazy quasi- WWII science fiction/satirical anti-war craziness. Awe inspiring.

I'm about 400-500 pages into A Storm of Swords. Very, very good. Though I should be finished by now (started about a week ago). It's just... I've had so little time to read lately.
I know, I know. Epic fail.
