So if you had a chance to work with code that ran on the Cell Processor, would you?

Those lapis dice are the most awesome thing I've ever seen....
Thanks for posting that!

Sure, why not?

Why does stupidity only burn in hindsight?

I've got two questions:
1) Who has the final say in salvation? Jesus Christ or Joseph Smith?
2) A guy I knew from the wrestling team stole a copy of the Book of Mormon from a hotel room a while back (yeah, I can't fathom why he'd do it either; wrestlers are some wicked people). What happens now?

Because it always seems like a good idea at the time.

Heavenly Father. (Although that's kind of an oversimplification.)

He should read it.

There was one in the book
Mechanicum that I liked... Essentially it was a secondary processor that gets installed into the brain, to enable the brain to receive and process data at super high speeds.
By being able to think faster, more objectively and more reliably than anyone around me, I'd have quite an edge...

A lot of people I know adore Ubuntu. I've been a Fedora guy for as long as I can remember. Red Hat Linux v.9 was my first experience with Linux, and my dad let me play around with his Fedora Core box when it was in version 1 or 2. Currently running 17, still an awesome distro.
Using a virtual machine as a primary development environment?

I wouldn't. When you start getting into more complex projects they can become a serious resource hog, and that problem is made worse running it in a VM.

I only use one currently because I can't get multimonitor support on my workstation with anything besides Windows. And I despise web dev with Windows.
Use PHP much? Or more relevantly if you have, any experience with the horrific experience that is .htaccess files?
