What do you think of the concept that the Iliad and the Odyssey are historically valid?
I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do - Robert A Heinlein

It's just... so cheesy.

Uh... probably the N64.

I think that there's probably some truth to both of the stories. The problem is that they're epic poems, consisting of mythological creatures and gods and heroes; they're not pieces that can be graded on a scale comparable to something historical, such as Herodotus' Histories.

You were telling him about Buddha, you were telling him about Mohammed in the same breath. You never mentioned one time the Man who came and died a criminal’s death...

Cheesy... if the entire show is cheesy, then I'd probably dislike it greatly. XD

Finished Dragon Age Origins yet?

Buffy's humor may be cheesy... but once you get into the character development... yeah. o.o

Why haven't you answered my question yet!?

No... I ended up selling it. My disc wasn't reading on the 360 for some reason.

Meh. It's okay.

It's not just the humor that's cheesy. It's everything. The effects, the acting, even the writing. It's all cheesy.

And... I haven't because I've been busy. I was housesitting from Thursday until today, Sunday. I'll probably be online more tonight and tomorrow.

Are you picking up ME2 at midnight?

I was tempted to, but I have martial arts on Monday, so I'll be to tired.

Sucks about the disc not reading. I've had that happen with stuff in the past, or have it show up as "Play DVD" instead of whatever game.

The 360 seriously has some faults. What really shows them is how good the PS3 plays. It's... never done anything wrong. Ever. Only hardware thing about it that I don't like is how some games require an install, which can be a problem if you've got limited memory.

I love the 360 because of the game library... but dude, I'd ditch it in a heartbeat if the PS3 got all the games. XD

Do you love Microsoft?

I might. I might end up just going in the morning and hunting down a collector's edition. XD

Yeah. I'll end up buying another copy of Dragon Age when I have a better paying job.

And as for loving Microsoft... I'm more or less indifferent. They haven't done me wrong with the Xbox 360 - not really, at least - and they don't really touch my home computer life, so... :o

Why didn't you just preorder the collector's edition of ME2? From what it sounds like, you're gonna have to hunt for it. :P

Because I've been really, really preoccupied, and I didn't get around to it.

For what it's worth, Gamestop did tell me that they'd do some calling around to see if they had extra copies anywhere.
