Well in all fairness bots are, by all accounts, harder to kill than mindless troops. I'll have to spend a weekend beating your record sometime though. >_>
People become complacent, and use that freedom for evil purposes. The next generation does even more evil, and the third generation believes that the endless possibilities are a right inherent to all man, instead of a gift from God.
In short, the world today.

Why is it the people that laugh at 90y/o rifles are the same people that can't shoot worth crap?

Why do people say "you're urinating me off"?
Some things, I think we won't ever understand.

I can't ever recommend suicide as an option.

...huh?
Is it just me, or is everyone who rides a Ducati a stuck up loser?

The grass would be decapitating itself. XD
Not everyone. That's like saying all Mac owners are stuck up. You occasionally find one that isn't.
My dad owned a Ducati. Old one, years ago. Well before I was born. Thus, the main force behind keeping me from getting a motorcycle is my Mum. XD

See, years ago it was cool. Now it's poserville.
8 days, two papers, absolutely no idea what to write about, and my entire summer on the line?

Sounds like the plot of a teen movie. Were this a movie, you'd get your fat, lovestruck, fearful best friend to help you in some daring plot to uncover nonexistent injustice in some form of local government. Then you'd find out out your other lady type best friend was actually your true love, and do some terrible romance thing. Then you'd all have a break down where you'd be left alone to walk awhile until you realize you were wrong, but by that point you'd have gotten yourself into a scrape of some sort that your fat best friend would save you from, and then you'd rescue your latent girlfriend and bust the government to get and A on both papers. Then your fat best friend would do something daring and get the girl he's had a crush on.
End scene.
That basically treats lady-types as generic love interests instead of people who have personalities. So I don't recommend that.
Why not write about the government? The worst that can happen is therapy and jail.

More of an ink guy. But I won't turn down a good portrait. My talents for realism are...lacking. So expect something that looks like a sick monkey projectile vomited onto a canvas, also known as surrealism, or modern art.
Wall painting? Never mastered the "W" technique, but I can do it at need.

The band or the quasi-mythical German homesickness?

Interesting concept. I 'spose it's possible. But I think the longing is for something else.
