Hmm...Don't know if I've listened to techno metal. At least, not enough to firmly remember it.

Echo effects?

The films of Darren Aronofsky (Pi, Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain, The Wrestler, Black Swan)?

It's a joking term I use to refer to Industrial Metal. See: Nine Inch Nails and Rammstein.

Echo effects, or delay (If you mean the guitar effect) are pretty neat.

I've sadly only seen Black Swan out of those, but I really want to see Requiem for a Dream and The Fountain. Black Swan was awesome, and I really want to see it again. Dark, of course, but it was a beautifully done darkness.

Requiem for a Dream is great though depressing, and it should be mandatory viewing for anyone who is thinking about starting a drug habit. There's a scene at the end that's hard to watch for women (nothing is shown but much is implied) so be careful who you show it to.

The Fountain is an interesting movie, though I'm not sure I understood what it was trying to say.

May I also recommend The Wrestler? It's a harrowing, captivating drama with excellent performances. Don't expect to feel cheerful afterwards though. It has some nudity (strip club scenes).

Didn't really care much for Pi. Maybe I'd like it more if I saw it again.

Life should be full of more flaming projectiles?

I don't really like Nine Inch Nails either, at least what I've heard of them.

I think Rammstein's music is pretty good, but the lyrics (if you understand German) are sometimes a little iffy so I've refrained from buying their albums.

Yes you may. :P I'll probably get around to seeing all of them at some point.

Blasphemy.

And probably. Just not in areas where there are burn bans.

Yeah, some of their lyrics are a little...weird. But since I'm not a native speaker of German, I can sometimes tune out the not-so-good parts. I'm rather fond of them regardless, and especially in the case of Herzeleid, I find myself strongly empathizing with some of the lyrics. I mean, Herzeleid is mostly about heartbreak and failed relationships, of which I've experienced my fair share. I will agree that their newer stuff has some rather...bad lyrics. Like the first single from Liebe Ist fur Alle Da, which I shan't name on this forum. It's sad though, because their musical quality increases as you go through the albums, but the lyrical quality becomes much more polarizing.

Are you an any kind of speaker of German?

I'm jealous, if so. XD

I have decent comprehension of German. Not near as good as my English or my Russian, but I can crudely decipher things without a book.

Meh. I like my Honda.

What type Honda you drive?

I actually like Civics. I just don't fit into them. :D

A '96 Civic EX. It's awesome. Granted, it's had a few issues lately, but it still runs like a champ.

I'm actually not that surprised. Civic's are darn near legendary for their quality.

MPG's?

If you mean Miles Per Gallon, I get about 30.

Otherwise, I need clarification. XD

Missiles per gantry, of course.

Nah, you got it. And I am jealous. How tall are you, anyway?

Fixing stuff?

5'11". Short, I know.

And I love it. So much fun to fix stuff, provided it's not the evil level of broken.
