Perhaps I'm not meant to play bass. Or, rather, perhaps I should work on my far below average rhythm skills to maintain a constant beat, and I shouldn't improvise the bass as I'm recording. XD

It's a myriad of bad idea's all wrapped into one.

Good song. Fairly easy, I guess...I can play it. Requires some speed though.

This is the version of the song in the movie. Epic stuff. Haven't learned the solo, but that most important part id the riff and the rhythm. Both of which I can play nicely. XD

If I'm ever tossed up onto a stage and MUSt impress...I think I'd play this. XD

I played this.....really long, song I wrote that's influenced by Tool, Soundgarden, and punk rock.

It's.....well, if I may say so, I think it's the most epic thing I've ever written. And the friends for whom I have played it agree. One friend said "Dude....that's so awesome."

Gotta record this sucker and find a way to add some VSTs in.

Don't worry, I intend to. I just gotta, you know, record it. :P And find a way to connect to my computer or get a recording deck.

As far as adding VSTs goes, drumming looks doable, and I'm slowly getting the hang of Orchestral composition.

Speaking of which, I didn't real 'play' it, but i tweaked my song, "Orchestral synthesis test"

Yes, I called it that. >.>

So, in an effort to keep this thread among the living....

I played a progressive metal piece I'm working on for an album of sorts. That previously mentioned song will be on there, albeit maybe not symphonized.

Epic in the making? I think so.

"I wanna Rock" by Twisted Sister.

I turned on my amp and pulled the headphone plug so I was blaring it out. Yes. Nailed the rhythm, and then, in a surprise to all, I played the solo. O_O And did it well, until the end when I faltered and forgot. XD

Yeah.
