When you join the BSA, you have to complete requirements to earn the "Scout" rank. It is the very lowest rank and the easiest to get because it only has 5-7 requirements (I am currently a Scout). The next rank up is Tenderfoot and it has 15 requirements. After that is Second Class, then First Class, which aren't easy ranks to get. poster983 is First Class. After First Class comes Star, Life and finally Eagle. Even though there are only a few ranks, the latter 3 require time. Like on the requirements for Star. To become a Star scout, you have to be a First Class scout for 6 months.

Ah. Not a badge then. I feel silly. :D But that's awesome. ^_^ My cousin is/was (is being a boy scout a lifetime thing, or do you "graduate"?) an eagle scout, and I went to his vesting ceremony, but I knew nothing of the various ranks.

That's great! Scouting can become a lifetime thing if you want it to, but at the same time when you turn 18 (unless you're in Venturing (Scouting for boys ages 14-21)), you sort of graduate. After that, you could become a leader in your troop or something like that.

S'mores are awesome, even though they can be very messy if the marshmallows are too hot.

Aye...he pretty much graduated and left it behind. Though certainly in any sort of woodland experience, the fact he made Eagle usually slips into the conversation. :D

They're great if you want to have lots of tools on you without having to carry a toolbox. If I carry a Swiss Army Knife I also carry my Gerber because I don't like the blades on SAKs.

Sounds wise. I've actually been considering switching my large Byrd for a "standard" SAK, simply because it does more and is a bit less...threatening. XD

Mmm...Oreos. Truly, the best cookie that can be bought from a store.

I'm not nervously anxious unless I'm trying something new. One example is PREP classes. I'm homeschooled, so I'm taking one to help with speaking in public because I can't really do that at home. If I'm anxious from being excited about something, then I can be ok with it.

Hmm...well, that sounds like a handy class. I regret not taking something like that (homeschooled as well).

Have you considered embracing your Viking heritage?

I guess so, but I'm not really related to the Vikings. I'm part Scottish, Italian and Cherokee.

Never played paintball. I do like airsoft though. I only have 2 pistols but some of my friends have some really cool ones like a shotgun (the one I'm best with), a Uzi and an AK-47.

I don't know. My ancestors did own a castle though. They were the Fairleys and they owned Fairley castle.
