What features would you like to see added in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2?

Personally, I'm hoping for vehicles among other things.

Calzones?
Eh. They're okay.

Get a mod if you want vehicles, they're in the original game files

Umm. I want to see huge, anomalous structures. And be able to buy ammo. New mutants. IDK, I don't think they stand much chance of screwing it up.

Most of my ammo comes from purchasing. :\

Is this STALKER 2 in the works?

Well, you can buy most ammo. But special rounds are impossible to find, at least other than 9mm JHPs and AP ammo.

Yes, 2012 is the release date

Also, it needs a console release.

Nice. That means I'ma have to GFX upgrade and RAM it up before 2012. XD

Too...special ammo makes up perhaps 40 percent of my stock. All from purchasing...is it different in CoP than SoC?

Cop than soc...so funny. XD

...kinda?

You can get it, like I said. But even in SoC, good luck finding .45ACP Hydroshock. I found maybe 300 rounds.

And LMG ammo can't be bought, even with my trader mod. My only way to get it is to kill the rare exoskeleton wearing zombie carrying an LMG. Which spawn at like one time in a hundred. It's insane.

There is that. I haven't found any ammo for the Tunder rifle thing I have outside of the science station...which is going to be a pain if I have to walk there every time I run out.

Is it worth it to add vehicles?

If it's any consolation, they claim the new engine they're making will be "Cross-platform"

Except that can mean any number of things, soooo.

Easiest way to get ammo for that is to kill Dutyers.

I'd say so. As long as they corrode.

Also, come to think of it, you need a permanent squad. Because the section where you have one in CoP rocked.

In STALKER?

Honestly, in SoC, I didn't. Just looted what I needed. In CoP, thought, artifacts are considerably rarer, so if you really try to, and don't spend much, you can easily get 250K or so in the space of a couple hours just hunting for them. Unfortunately, you need a detector, and all but the rarest two suck.

If you meant in real life, I don't care. Money is money.

What's the deal with making your own caches and whatnot in that game?

It's not so much that you can create your own caches, but in each of the three* areas there's a camp, where you have a safebox you can load with stuff. Which, since the camps are pretty much central to the entire area, with the exception of the one in Pripyat, is extremely useful. IIRC, there's a few similar places in SoC, but I didn't use them half as much, since the lack of an upgrade or repair system made scavenging a couple of each weapon mostly useless.

*Yes, CoP only has three areas, but they're slightly larger than the ones in SoC. That said, I put maybe 25 hours in SoC, and I've put 50 in CoP, 20 of those after beating the main quest.

In SoC, I've got a stash with the barkeep...mostly extra armor I may need later and rare weapons. Medkits too, as I found carrying all of them was too much weight. XD

I usually stuck with Army medkits. I mean, keep a few around for emergencies...but...yeah.
