I like hamsters. I can't recommend their usage.
And aside from that, rats make better human analogues.
Use teenagers. Just tell them it's a new drug.

And...I dunno. Currently own? An Alverez acoustic from some time in the 70's. That, or a Daisy BB gun I was given by my Aunt that she got as a child.
My Pancreas is running 20 years though. So we'll see how long that goes.
