Right now I'm reading Auralia's Colors by Jeffrey Overstreet. I've never read Christian fantasy this well-written (well, barring Lewis and Tolkien.) I have yet to get very far, but what I've read is very, very captivating.

I could recommend a few others, but I agree. The book is very good.

I'm reading my new copy of LOTR! Three book, hardcover, with illustrations by Alan Lee.

I did read patriot games, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I also read HFRO, but I didn't enjoy it as much.

I'm going to finish it because I'm reading the Jack Ryan books in chronological order.

The Jack Ryan books are pretty much awesome, DF. Good luck with it. Be sure not to miss The Sum of All Fears. That's one of the few books that I've read two or three times, simply because it's so awesome.

I'm not sure if this counts as a book, but I'm reading it, so...yeah. I picked up the Watchmen graphic novel. I'm not normally a big fan of graphic novels or comic books, but this...this is epic. Like, really epic. I'm addicted to the story already, and it's very hard to put down. I'm reading more as soon as I read my Sociology book.

Actually, those probably go well together.....I love that book.


Anyway, I'm reading Sinner by Ted Dekker. Good, just not as good as Showdown and the Circle Trilogy.
I am not insane....I merely perceive the world differently.

Which one is that? I've probably read it, but I'm more a fan of Saint.

Coronado by Dennis Lehane.

I'm a massive fan of short story collections, and Lehane's offering is no different. In fact, he's quick becoming one of my favorite authors, simply because of his novels. The short stories are just icing.

I grabbed a bunch of books at the library today, but the first one I opened is one by William Johnstone. He's... not the best writer ever (in technical terms, at least)... but his post-apocalyptic world is interesting, and his characters are easy enough to relate to.

I'm having to read something called "Silas Marner" for my school. I hate it, it's so boring, and I don't like any of the characters. :evil:
