Thank you everyone who has prayed for and supported me/ChristCenteredGamer on going to our first speaking engagement! It went really well. The kids were very engaged through the two presentations which can accessed here and here. I answered a lot of questions and showed the kids how to make a Python based video game that quizzed them on the Ten Commandments.
Speaking of games, the kids enjoyed playing games on my laptop (Pix the Cat), 3DS (Skater Cat), and on my Vita (Race the Sun). The biggest hit was Gunjack on my Samsung Gear VR headset. As good as the presentations were, playing the games was their favorite part. I got many Thank You’s and compliments on my presentations and was invited to future IMC events. I even got a nice drawing from a seven-year-old!
The people running the conference were on fire for God and it showed. I learned how to reach out to Muslims and enjoyed the culturally different atmosphere. I even got to try new ethnic foods for the first time!
