What, you mean the little trinkets you get after missions?
You mean you actually did something with those other than toss them to your companion?
All main quest rewards were pretty on par; that's what made exploration rewarding.

But the civil war is a major event, I would've liked something that was actually worth it... Also hated the way the damaged structures never got repaired. And it's clear that a specific ammount of time does pass to warrent buildings getting repaired. I would've liked to have seen a talos temple built in whiterun if you had say... sided with the nords. Also, I don't use companions, I found them always getting lost and I wonder around... ALOT.

I don't know that there's a single non-Daedric quest reward that's worth keeping after level 8 or so. That's just the way it was built.
You have a slightly valid complaint about the civil war reconstruction, but then what, new rebuilt buildings just appear? To do that proper you'd want to show mid construction and honestly I don't think they cared to put that kind of animation effort into it. Probably better just to have a reminder of what happened.

I think morrowind handled construction of a building through a series of quests. I think I would've headed in that direction to be honest. The daedric artifacts, I'll tell you now that I'm still frustrated that they didn't scale the ebony blade. It just became worthless, even with it's full power and special enchantments.
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Stronghold_(Hlaalu" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) See? They handled it in phases! An extra set of quests to help in the repair would've been great!

Or it could have been a useless set of fetch quests.
And we know about the gods-danged Ebony Blade already. It's broken. But why bother to fix something that is, like all stock weapons, pretty much rendered useless by the forge addition.

I hated the forge, there was little style. You couldn't really make your armor "your own". I won't say it was too easy to break, since oblivion had the same problem pretty much. Besides, I liked alot of the stock unique weapons, they had style!

If you like both and don't play any typical frat boy game, then you aren't a frat boy or a "bro".

Sweeping generalizations and blanket statements based on your own opinion are uninformed, rude, and often false.

But, call of duty and madden ARE known as "bro" games. I just happen to consider Skyrim a "Bro" game because it has become overly casual and simplified. Just because something falls within a classification, it doesn't mean that it is any less true and it doesn't mean that it is rude. If enough people consider something as a specific classification, it probably means that there is a specific pattern that it falls into. You are complaining over something petty. We were having an excersize on free speech, and I am excersizing mine.

No, it makes it your own simplified opinion and makes you appear pretentious and ignorant. Skyrim has near-universal acclaim anyway. It's not like Morrowind didn't have its share of problems.

But, it isn't JUST my opinion. Others feel that it does fall within the same classification. The fact is that you are just butthurt because I used the term fratboy. You haven't provided ONE reason why my statement is true other then your own opinion.
Morrowind was a great game and unlike in Skyrim, being a thief actually MEANT that you had to polish up on your thief skills. To be a warrior, you actually had to polish up on your warrior skills. Things actually MATTERED for different reasons. The story was actually better to boot, and every dungeon felt ominous. I would be willing to bet that half the people who play both skyrim and make rude and obscene remarks in call of duty wouldn't even glance at morrowind.
Now that isn't to say that anyone who plays skyrim is a bro gamer, or a frat boy. But the very nature of skyrim is very fratboyish.
