That's some of the only legitimate "drop the mic and walk out" material I've seen in the whole quibble about the next console generation.
EDIT: Just read the whole patent application thing. Yeesh.

Funny!
And yes, in today's high-tech world with all these advancements in DRM and whatnot... I think a company that sticks with the bare-bones, common sense, user-friendly approach will tend to win any day.

Sony definitely beat Microsoft out on points for press conferences. Microsoft has more games of interest on the Xbox One than Sony has though.
Also I don't see Sony beating out Nintendo since Nintendo had so many more games to show. And they have many more inclusive games than Sony showed.
BTW Project Spark looks awesome.

I dunno man, the Wii U is too unimpressive for me to consider Nintendo a long-term contender in the next generation of consoles

Totally agree with you. Thanksgiving 2015 is when Nintendo should get a new home console on the market. Even if its an upgraded Wii U that is more powerful and whatnot. Like Apple has done with the iPhone and iPad. The Wii U will not last against the PS4 and Xbox One in 2-3 years. Nintendo needs to anticipate this and move quicker than they did with the Wii replacement.
I was just talking games only. For me Nintendo had more games of interest.
DriveClub is looking better, and I am interested in that. Hohokum, and Doki-Doki Universe do not look interesting. And quite honestly if that is the next game family games from Sony I am happy in this generation of gaming. I hope they are fun. Animal Crossing, Minecraft, the Sims and others look bad on paper; but are fun to play.
It was obvious that Sony was going after Microsoft in their press conference. They had multiple zingers that made them points. Microsoft really needs to address their issues if they want the hardcore gamer. They need a lower price to attract the family gamer.
