Anime like Trigun.... I think you'd like Cowboy Bebop. Is was done in 1998 so the art style is hand done delicious-ness. Has a running of 26 episodes and one movie. I find the voice acting surprisingly better in DUB; probably because the anime is older.
This show has everything,Crime Fiction, Science Fiction, Sci-Fi Noir, Space Western, and mystery.

Never got into Cowboy Bebop. I've seen a little bit, but nothing caught me.

If you want something violent and thrilling try Attack on Titan.
I'm talk'en people being eaten, smashed, ripped apart.
do Not eat food as you watch, your stomach starts trun'en after awhile.

Genre: Dark fantasy, Tragedy, mystery.

If I recall correctly, the first episode has a little bit of everything. The next three episodes are more story based, But then back to carnage because humanity has find better ways to fight the titans.

you Can find it on CrunchyRoll.com its free unless you want to see the newest episodes the day of its release. no sign up, nothing.

If by chance you like football try Giant-Killing, style is a bit strange but the anime its self is realistic, as in Its not dumbed down or cartoonized.
and I like its theme-song.

Saw an interesting bit using Attack on Titan to evaluate the nature of Evil.

Aside from that point, I wasn't terribly interested. You don't have to try suggesting an anime I might like, I just don't care for the style very much. I find it a bit off-putting. The story will have get me past it, and I find that to be rarely the case.
