Alright guys. Enough of this troll/flame war. Keep it cool.
Aww...but...but...I didn't get to...

Anyway, assuming the Dreamcast 2 is real (MAJOR ASSUMPTION), I just want a sequal to Seaman

Heck, from what the trailer said, there were planning on doing Sonic Adventure 3, Shenmue 3, along with other popular Dreamcast titles. They even said it would have up to 8 players in total and have backwards compatibility with original Dreamcast games.

Take a look for yourself:

This was recorded on someone's cell phone in Japan back in 2010
at some kind of conference.

If this is not strong enough evidence, I don't know what is.

It's probably fake.

I seriously doubt it. I was actually watching G4 once. It said something in the bottom headlines about "Dreamcast 2" and how Yuji Naka said he wanted to work on it. I repeat: I saw it on G4.

Like I said, you don't have to believe me. I just hope they make it.

Wants to, not will.

Did you know that the man who made Mario would like to make a first-person shooter? Doesn't mean it's going to happen, though I WANT IT SO BAD

I realize this is off-topic, but I think I figured out why your videos don't embed properly. The YouTube video ID is delimited by an equal sign and an ampersand. So in this link, the video ID would be 2xSbWFCmlwA. Observe:

Code: Select all

Yields:

Random, but I finally understand your question in the help section. XD

Deadman, I'd like to point out that some of those videos have been confirmed fake, and a few of those "shaky cam" videos have been (if I'm not mistaken) done by a certain group that has done videos similar like that in the past. Most recently, I've seen a video displaying that Final Fantasy XIII: Versus was being developed for Wii U. They used the same trailer that was shown before in the past, but added a Wii U logo at the end. The video looked like it was being shown in front of a small audience in a room.

Also, it's hard to believe that SEGA would name their second console "Dreamcast 2", considering they always had a different name for each console. SEGA Orbis sounds more believable than Dreamcast 2. XD

It really sucks when you get hyped for something, and then find out it's fake. I've been there, I understand that. It's better to be skeptical about things like this than actually get yourself hyped up for a possible disappointment. SEGA has been having a lot of financial trouble lately, so it's even harder to believe that they would invest in a console.

I usually wait until the company announces something first, before I get really excited.

Like I said. Was watching G4 and saw something on bottom headlines for "Dreamcast 2". Still going to hope. And if they don't make it, then fine.

I don't have anything to add except to say that there hasn't been a decent Sonic the Hedgehog game since the Sega Genesis was around.

True. It is best to wait until the company says so. But it's not as though ALL of the information is wrong. So is it wrong for me to hope? :|
