That song was written in response to one of lead singer David Draiman's ex-girlfriends committing suicide. It's telling people to not do it, because there are other ways to deal with life and the problems in it.

VSQ's instrumental strings-only cover of the Smashing Pumpkins song is beautiful.

Just ended, now it is "Lyric" by Zwan. Zwan was Billy Corgan's short-lived supergroup formed after Smashing Pumpkins broke up. It's one of the catchiest songs I've heard in months, and it's been in my head for days.
