It doesn't come out in Thailand till the 23rd....:(

I'm still seeing it.

And Wampa, if you're so worried about content, go look a review up: It actually doesn't sound all that bad, especially for the type of genre that it's in.

Forgot to put a movie, and don't feel like editing. :P

Phone Booth - Well acted (Kiefer Sutherland is perfect) and well scripted, this is a pretty intense little movie. I'll give it a B+

Public Enemies

It was...good. I wouldn't call it great. The film isn't concerned with how Dillinger became the man he was. It's just interested in...well...the man he was before he died. The movie studies him effectively, and leaves it at that.

B+

I'm going to have to disagree with you there. Bad Boys II and Death Race were well made dumb action movies (I know Death Race isn't a Bay film). This was just an awful movie through and through. There were at least ten plot holes that I could count. The action was still badly shot (you can't tell one transformer from another and countless characters were underused). Apart from that, the acting was very bad, the script was absolutely dreadful, the twins are probably the most racist and annoying characters I have seen in a movie in many years, and the constant "humor" (which completely failed at being funny) was such a distraction that it ruined most of the action scenes that it showed up in.

And why, for the love of all things holy, did John Tuturro have to strip down to his thong underwear? I would hate the man now if not for his work with the Coens.

Alex Kurtzman does not a bad movie write. Plot holes? Sure. But was it bad? I assure you, I've seen worse. Much, much worse. This was a fun, dumb movie.

I've seen worse too. But I sure as heck haven't seen anything worse this year. And as a casual movie critic, I rate movies by their own standards, not measure them against other movies.

I'm hopefully going to see Public Enemies this week.

The Truman Show

This is an all time favorite of mine, and for good reason. Such a great story, and so much to think about. What's more, Jim Carrey is able to make me forget about his crappy comedies and simply see him as Truman. That takes work. Kudos to him.

A+

Also, I love The Truman Show. I'd even say it's Jim Carrey's best movie, by far.
