Hello there!

I'm new here, obviously. I've been looking for a site like this for a while.

I've been playing games for pretty much my entire life, and have been interested in computers and computer gaming for about that long, too. My first experience with computers was with the TRS-80 from way back, and my first computer RPG was Ultima II. That started a lifelong obsession with computer games - especially CRPGs - that continues to this day.

I'm also a devout and extremely dedicated Christian. I've been nondenominational for a good portion of my life, but just recently (about 5 years ago) joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

I'm married with three kids - and yes, having kids in the house definitely changes what kinds of games I play and allow into the house!

Anyway, like I said, I've been looking for a site like this for a while. I used to be a member of a pretty good site devoted to role-playing in World of Warcraft, but since I don't play that any more (I consider myself to be between MMORPGs right now...), I've kind of fallen away from that group. I've kind of been lost... looking for a community that supports my values and also has a keen interest in gaming has been a surprising struggle. But now that I've found this place - which, upon a browsing of the reviews and the forums, seems to reflect my conservative, Christian, family values - hopefully I can make a few friends here and get to know you better... and contribute something in return.
