Star Trek

It was good movie but not really my style. The plot was rather boring. And predictable.

Boring and J.J. Abrams does not compute. Boring and Star Trek doesn't much, either. :?

Haha! I correctly predicted your answer, I did! 8)

And the last Star Trek movie I saw was boring. I didn't see this one yet, though.

Saw Star Trek for the third time (that wasn't really my choice)...and I still loved it. Don't think I want to see it again for a while, though. But I'm convinced that this is a film I will have no problem seeing many more times and still enjoying. I think that say's something for the film's character.

And at the double feature we also caught I Love You, Man. Which was hilarious, and adorable, and heartwarming. It was probably the best comedy I've seen since Knocked Up. Not quite as good, but certainly up there.

A few days ago I watched X-Men - It was cornier than I remembered, but I've always liked this movie. It seems so strange to think that the first time I watched it I was in third grade... :o Hmm..B-

Yesterday I watched

White Chicks - I didn't want to see it in the first place, but it simply proved it's existence to me as the unfunny piece of trash it was. D-

Most of The Longest Yard - I liked that the movie had a darker tone than most comedies that I've seen, and it's a bit formulaic, but still enjoyable. But really, were the gay cheerleaders necessary? C+

And most of X2 - I think finally I've been able to piece together the whole film from the bits that I've seen, but this movie held a good portion of what I had not. Still, it really is an improvement from the first. B+

Little Miss Sunshine

I remember seeing this like a year and a half ago, enjoying it, but not thinking it was all the great. I don't know what was wrong with me, because seeing it again, I think it's fantastic. What a fantastic view of a dysfunctional family that functions. It was a beautiful, funny, witty story. I love it.

Stargate: Continuum.

Actually, pretty good. Works as a standalone, but I imagine you would get more out of it after watching the whole series. Far more violent and dark then the normal Stargate fair.

Les Miserables - Strong performances all around, rich story, good script and you have one of my favorite movies. A

By the way, The DaVinci Code as a movie completely sucked despite the respectable actors in it. The book was much better regardless of your religious leanings. But I have heard Angels and Demons is much better, and is not blasphemous at all.
