Just got the new EP from The Used, Shallow Believer. It has all the B-sides from the 1st three albums, which I never heard (or knew existed). It's more goodness from The Used for me and my friends to love!

Year Zero was one of the most amazing albums of the year, made moreso by the ARG that coincided with it (and is still going). It makes for a story that the band brings you into, built around blogs and message boards and audio clips. Really very cool stuff. Do a little searching to read about it.
I just borrowed Bruce Springsteen's "Magic" from my mom. Really cool album, but not a fan of the "wall of sound" that is used. Everything is so... echoey.

I'm still rocking out to Project 86's "Rival Factions," which I got for my birthday. GREAT CD! I also got Anberlin's "Never Take Friendship Personal." Definitely the band's best release.
