Tomorrow Never Dies

Well, it was a bit like GoldenEye in terms of action over cool....

But come on, a media tycoon as the villain????

And he wants to "Boost his ratings and get exclusive broadcasting rights" by starting WWII?

COME ON!!!!

Love this movie. So dark, and yet hilarious. Incredibly well done and another reason why the Coen brothers are one of, if not the best moviemaking team in the business.

Blah! BLAH BLAH BLAH!

Nothing like the book. A chopped up somewhat non-existant storyline, bad camera work (including re-using shots and replaying the same shots 3 times. ) and it completely missed the point of House, the book.

I'd say wait for the rental but it is a fun movie. Not pixar fun, but fun. I love all the scifi references to old movies/books/whatever they through in, that is the best part of it for me. Good voice cast too.

Observe and Report, again. This time with a group. Still incredibly funny.

Whew... Great movie. The acting was great, the storyline was great, but is was the great screenplay that sealed it for me.

I just watched Say Anything (again) today. Reminds me of my teenage years in the late 80's to early 90's... Awesome movie, one of my favorites.

Pretty amazing. And also pretty nihilistic/repulsive.

Well, it was good.

Better villain than Tomorrow Never Dies had. XD

The story was good, even though there were some "What the heck?" moments.

Air Force One - Serviceable thriller with some nice performances. Sadly, the ending suffers slightly from cheesiness, but overall, pretty good. Interestingly enough, there was quite a few similarities to Die Hard, but it didn't make me like the movie any less. B

(How come every time I see Gary Oldman in a movie, he looks completely different?)

Hot Fuzz - While incredibly funny, some of this movie just..doesn't do it for me. I'm discovering I much prefer Shaun of the Dead, even though I saw this first. B

That almost makes me want to see that.

That was somewhere on the border of pathetic and psychotic.

Hmm.

The movies I watch in English.....

It was pretty funny.

Aaron Eckhart was totally awesome in this movie.

Although it was incredibly profane. :|
