Prefer vampires. Provided they aren't shiny.

That works. XD
Real Life zombie slaying would be fun?
Assuming, of course, family was safe. XD

I'll need a shotty first. My SMLE's great, but it's a marksman's weapon.
Or if you'd like, take a few of my knives, I'll cover you.

I'll use a machete instead of your knives, if you don't mind...I'd like a little bit of space between the zombie and my face.
Hot sauce made with pepper spray base?

I've no doubt your knives are better than my machete...I spent like $18 on it. XD But the machete is longer. Zombies smell dude.
Revenge?

Maybe, depends.
Generally, if I can't deal with something when it happens, I'll ignore it.

I've found revenge to be insanely fun, but ultimately negative and guilt causing.
And the only thing worse than guilt is guilt when you've actually done sommat wrong.
Settling back into home?

Philosophically.

I was looking for that word. Metaphorically...Lame.
You loved ND that much?

...kinda?
Complicated.
To borrow from Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy, Florida is Inferno, the purest form of hell. Even worse, this hell wasn't formed of an act of Satan nor the will of God, but by mortal man's folly, which leaves me in a position of guilt for it's existence. But I digress.
North Dakota, strangely, I would not consider Paradiso, but at a maximum Purgatorio, a place to grow and learn. And, above all things, to be human. In hell, I find, humanity is impossible.
Paradiso, I've come to believe, is no place a mortal can reach.
tl;dr: Florida is being drowned, ND was air.
